The Public Security Police (PSP) and Rebau have started work on the refurbishment of the Bom Pastor Police Station. This project, under the responsibility of Rebau, aims to modernise and optimise the facilities at the police station, contributing to better working conditions and a more efficient service to the community.
The project, which involves a series of interventions, aims to improve various areas of the police station. The work to be carried out includes:
Preparatory Work: This includes the execution and management of the construction site, provisional installations, supply of equipment, waste management and general cleaning of the site.
Demolition and Removal Covers the demolition of the roof, sun protection system, cupboard doors and doors, as well as the removal of cabling, electrical, ITED and CCTV apparatus and equipment.
Reinforced Concrete: Includes the execution of a concrete plinth on the roof.
Floors: Focuses on cleaning and treating thresholds, window sills and stone floors, as well as laying natural stone foundations.
Roofs: Cleaning and repairing roofs, soffits, gutters and downpipes, and replacing thief pipes.
Cladding (exterior and interior walls): Application of regularising mortar to exterior walls and repair of areas damaged by damp on interior walls.
Coatings (Floors and Ceilings): Application of epoxy resin flooring system, supply and application of plasterboard false ceiling, and repair of existing false ceilings.
Waterproofing and Insulation: Supply and application of mineral wool to insulate false ceilings.
Carpentry: Work on chipboard and beech doors and wall panelling in the public service area.
Locksmiths: This includes the supply and application of doors, lacquered sheet metal for draught excluders, copings and platband coverings, zinc guttering, cast iron downpipes, aluminium flush profiles and a general overhaul of window frames.
Glazing: Supply and installation of laminated and tempered glass pivot doors.
Painting: Painting of exterior walls, interior ceilings (new and to be repaired), interior walls and panelling.
Electrical | ITED: Improvement and alteration of the electrical panel, installation of electrical pipework, lighting fittings, equipment, telecommunications (cabinets, rulers, cables and sockets) and CCTV systems.
Exterior Fittings: Cleaning, treatment and repair of exterior fencing and granite paving, as well as treatment of exterior gates.

The work, with a guarantee period of 5 years for most of the interventions, or 0 years for preparatory work and demolition, and 10 years for reinforced concrete structures, represents a significant investment in the safety and well-being of the community and the members of the police force who work there.
